Congratulations! What are you studying? I made the deans list too at Appstate, but the requirement is pretty low (3.25 if you’re taking 15 hours or more, and 3.45 if you’re taking less than 15), I’m sitting good at 3.57 going into my Junior year. If I can keep it up I’ll graduate with honors, something most of my design program didn’t do this past grad season.

Hmm...I got a letter from BMW letting me know that my electrical harness is faulty and could potentially burn out materials in my car (My ac’s wiring died recently).

GPA -
In ‘Murican high schools, colleges, and universities, we give 4 points for an A, 3 for a B, 2 for a C, etc.
So maximum available in my school is a 4.0. Some high schools give an extra point for “weighted” GPA if the course is exceptionally challenging. That’s how the first in my high school class had a 4.8 GPA.

I never excelled in school and never really made much of an effort until I finally went back to finish my degree. After my first semester back I received a similar letter and immediately assumed that it was a bad list to be on. Like double secret probation.
