I don’t ride, but I might someday. This thing is like new, no scratches anywhere. Even has the little bag for storage.

Kinja'd!!!

EDIT: I hear you guys, no wearing it when ridding.

Don’t use it if you value your head. Plastic has a shelf life. It is cool looking though.

Don’t use it for anything besides decoration.

The foam inside deteriorates with age, even if it looks ok. Helmets are good for 10 years, max.

This is one where starring someone else’s pkst isn’t enough. While great wall art from decades past, that is no longer a helmet. Even a cheep modern helmet would be 100x the protection that one can offer.

Now you just need an 80s bike for period correct shows.

If you ride, get a new helmet. This one is not only ancient in regards to technology, but it wouldn’t even be as protective as it was when new.

Shiny and nice, but useless for protection. We can’t reiterate this enough.

I know you’ve been told enough already, but as a long-time rider and an advocate for proper riding gear, I want to help in drilling this advice into your brain: That helmet is an awesome conversation piece, and nothing more. DO NOT RIDE WITH IT!

Your head and your life are priceless; spend a little money for a good helmet when you plan on picking up the hobby.

Now back to the helmet: That is a total score! I absolutely would have grabbed it too, but the rare handful of times I’ve found myself in a Goodwill, I’ve never found anything remotely as cool as that.

Someone had a neon green and purple VFR400 for sale near me not too long ago. Would make a killer starter bike/commuter bike for someone.
