I just bought a battery powered buzz saw, I am finally coming around to electric stuff. You will pry my 2 stroke weedwhacker out of my cold dead hands though

I got a B&D trimmer a few years ago with the lithium ion batteries. They don’t last long (it came with 2), each about 20 minutes. So I looked online for extra batteries. They were $40-60 each.

So I waited until they had a sale on a hedge trimmer (same battery) for $40 - basically bought an extra battery and got a trimmer for free.

That’s city folk tools...

I wouldn’t be able to do 1/4 of my yard on one charge.

When I have to pass the mower it takes me about 2 hours of riding mower, and 2-4 hours of weed whacking...

my next is going to be a straight shaft stihl with metal blades. My 300 feet of ditches will never be the same after...

I ran into the same issue with a Ryobi; bought it because it was light enough for my wife to use while I mow. We quickly found out a battery doesn’t hold a charge long enough to do everything. Extra battery $50, but there’s a clearance center near me that sells a remanufactured tool with battery for $36. I bought one and sold just the tool for $25 on Craigslist.
