So this number keeps calling my work number, non-stop.

I’ve tried everything, letting it go to voicemail, holding the line up in silence, but the dipshit still calls me everyday precisely 4 times, and it gets annoying when I’m on conference calls. Same time of the day too, so it’s probably on a robo-dialer.
I’m thinking maybe I should go Les Grossman on him.

I always try and sell like a special edition dildo powered by a Honda generator and that usually gets them off my case. Or try to have phone sex with the operator, start with “so what are you wearing?”
May not be the most orthodox way of getting rid of telemarketers, but it’ll get you off their list pretty fast.... Unless they’re into that kind of thing.

I take it you don’t have a service over there that bars ‘cold callers’?
Answer the phone and inform them if they don’t remove your number from their system and they call again that you will report it to the phone as harassment and look at what legal action is available if it continues.

Look into taking legal action or at least tell the guy you are.
If it’s a call centre phone them back and speak to the line manager or find the name of the company and get people you know to phone them, repeatedly.

What I’ve been doing as of late is pick up the phone and keep pushing the numbers on the dialer so it just makes it so annoying they hang up on you. My wife thinks it’s rude and childish. I think that they’re annoying me so it’s only fair.
But, there is a part of me that kind of feels bad. The anger at the telemarketer is generally misdirected. They’re just trying to do their job.

TL;DW Set your answering machine as a 56k dial-up handshake tone and the machine will think it’s a fax machine and automatically put it on a do-not-call list.

I have this problem with American Red Cross they call me twice a day several days a week and they don’t stop. I took myself off the list online and they still keep calling and leaving voice mails
