... and gosh am I tired! The parade was long (1hour) and slow, which my car and myself hate terribly, the current lack of AC didn’t help with the situation either.
On the other hand, the amount of cars and the quality of those was simply astonishing! It was also the 50 years of the Toyota 2000GT: 11 2000GT were present, 2 from the museum, including the convertible James Bond car and 9 privately owned ones. Chassis number #001 was also present.
I’ll post many pictures next week, meanwhile: fresh beer time!!

Yeah, that was a lot! But to be honest, I go to so many car shows around here (I live near Toyota), that 2000Gt just aren’t that rare to me anymore lol... I see one from time to time in my city, many car shows invite at least one, if not more, today we got 11! It’s an awesome car, but yeah, seeing this many around me, kind of ruins the magic a little. Awesome dream car still, of course, just less and less of a wow effect on my side... I miss the day I saw one in the wild for the first time, revving like crazy in 2nd gear, out of nowhere... My excitement and feeling seeing this will stay in my memory forever... Now, it’s still awesome, but not something I’ll lose sleep over like the first time :)

I’ve only seen two 2000GTs in person and one is at the Megaweb. Funny that they had to make the convertible because Connery was too tall. I made these gifs a few years ago:
