Very long day, wanted to hit the hay but coughed up some energy to get a Chinese takeaway.

Special fried rice, sweet and sour chicken and extra portion of fried rice.

Grass fed burgers and Annies mac and cheese, the joys of having a toddler. On the upside he ate all of it.

Pork spare ribs smoked three hours on the grill with soaked cherry wood. Grilled pineapple, some panned cooked potatos and a glass of craft brew. My son has declared it the best meal ever.

Bacon wrapped pork chops, with potatoes, broccoli, peppers, and onion in a foil pack so I could cook everything on a grill.

Leftovers from last night. That was stout brined pork loin with roasted sweet potatoes, apples, and red onion. There was asparagus last night that I cooked with garlic and parmessan, but that was all gone. Working third shift tonight so it was washed down with lemonade.

I used to be a grilled tuna guy but I have been converted. Gotta get that good sear on the outside and leave it mostly rare.

Pro tip: no need to soak the wood, sir/ma’am.
