Sadly, my wife and I had known for some months that his health was deteriorating (but the family wanted it kept as quiet as it could be). So, I can’t say it’s a shock for us, but very sad nonetheless. He will be missed.

Yeah, I suppose it was. A lot of people knew he was not well, but I don’t think many realized to what extent. I suspect that a lot of his show cancellations were credited to just old age, or other ailments that may not have been disclosed as so serious. We will be toasting one to Gregg tonight, that’s for sure.
