I’m nearly through a bottle of wine and editing a book. Ideally, I’d be almost through a bottle of wine and taking a nap, but I’m working with actual editors and they’re spending their holiday weekend editing and it makes me self-conscious. So instead I’m doing that and listening to Bob Dylan.

Well Friday I consumed quite a bit of alcohol (Estrella, Corona and Hop House 13) while cleaning a total of four cars.
My fat body (just dried, not buffed with a drying aid yet).
Today I took in some more alcohol with a friend while taking in the sun and the amazing things that the sun brings out to see in such weather ;) .
Was taking the pi55 out of a couple of lasses that sat across us to get out of the rain shower that thankfully came to clear up the humidity a little.
((I’ve edited my friend’s appearance because a) I didn’t ask his permission to post it and b) he’s bloody way better looking than me))
(the pub we were at is also next door to where the 28th president of the United States parents preached at).
Saw some beautiful old buses from Leylands to AECs.
This one being made in Barrow, Cumbria in 1958 is a Leyland PD2/40.

I’m at the south end of the state having a late lunch with my parents, my stepsister and her husband, and two of my nephews. I’m hanging out down here until Monday morning just enjoying not doing anything.

I didn’t do much with the Lands really, just a wash, dry, seal and vacuum.
The owner wants her resprayed next month.
The owner tried offering me a small wad of cash but I refused.
The guy in the picture is a mate I’ve known for 15 years. I worked with him and his to be wife for two years, lived with him for one and love them all more than family.

I once read a biography of Jack Benny where his adopted daughter said that her fondest memory of him was that he’d always take her for a drive every Sunday morning. If I ever have kids, I plan on doing exactly that.
