I really don’t get the hard-on so many people have for this car, outside of the whole forbidden fruit they don’t sell it here thing.
It’s just as bland-looking as the Golf GTI, only less practical.

I agree, but it’s also much prettier.
So pretty in fact, that VW hasn’t made any significant design changes in this for yeeaars. And they still sell. That’s pretty cool.
