It’s really not a bad idea. These are pleasant to drive, even if a bit awkwardly placed between GT and roadster. Everything looks and feels nice in terms of design and build. My experience is with a 30i mostly (though I’ve had time in a 35i), meaning slower with a nice sound and a bit less weight over the front. Torque on the N54/N55 cars is pretty amusing.
Cons: runflats suck, numb EPS, not very light
Pros: fun, relaxing without being soulless

RWD + open differential + loads of torque is questionable for winter even with snow tires. Yeah yeah it’s got traction control but that doesn’t help when you’re trying to get the wheels churning.
