TTAC is reporting that 2 sources close to Nissan’s future product plans say that the Juke is dead after this model year to be replaced with this:
the Kicks, which was given the green light last year for Latin American markets. So they are going to replace one controversial CUV with another small weirdly designed one with a stupid name. All the while we languish on with the old ass 370Z with no rumor of replacement. But thats another story though....But anyway, you guys can read about it here. Was it true the Juke was actually fun to drive? I never could bring myself to drive one because of how it looked.

1. Good riddance to the hideous thing. I like Nissan’s design language the Maxima and Murano use, but the Juke is just vomit inducing.
2. Didn’t they just introduce the kinda-Juke-sized-but-actually-useful-and-not-ugly Rouge Sport? I feel like the Kicks and that would share waaaaay too much market space.

After riding shotgun in Canuck’s Juke, I can tell you that it’s a perfectly okay place to be. It seemed to handle and accelerate just fine.

There’s a Nissan dealer on route 66 in New Jersey. I guess you could say that one can get their Kicks on Route 66.

I didn’t dislike the juke. It was a little odd looking but it was atleast interesting and it came in some pretty okay colors.
But would one own one? That’s a totally different story

As someone whose mom is seriously considerating a Kicks, it’s nice. I like the interior the most (especially since it’s available in tan, sand and brown in the sea of black interiors of Brazil), but the rear is kinda ugly. As Citroen said, it is winning most of the comparisons with the HR-V, Ecosport, Tracker and Renegade

Bigger. Kicks is 4,29m (168.9in) vs 4,12m (164.2in) of the Juke. Wheelbase is also longer in the Kicks

I’m not going to lie, I’m going to be sad when the Juke goes. There aren’t many cars on the road with “F-U I do what I want!” styling.
Then again, I drive a Rogue and I lose it all the time in parking lots, so that may or may not influence my affinity for the Juke.
