Kinja'd!!!

Just in.

Selling on Amazon.com for US$68, but thanks to the weird way they work, got it on Amazon.ca for C$45.

Going to try the sealant on my windshield tonight. Can’t do the rest yet, it’s raining all weekend and next, plus some paint still venting solvents.

PS: How do I finish off repainted panels, try clay then a low-cut polish, if that fails? It’s shiny and beading, but paint still feels very rough.

Do the panels need a wet sand with a 3000 grit? That will get rid of any texture, then polish out with a rotary with a wool wheel using a Med cut polish. Then step it out with a random orbit fine cut and swirl remover. Seal after that.

I didn’t try anything too drastic yet, I don’t have sanding blocks or a rotary, at most a DA I can borrow. It looks OK, just very rough, not like I can visually see sanding marks or anything. There was one repainted panel that looks like there was some wet sanding residue (white liquid streaks), I only used some SwirlX + DA on it, and it felt much better and got rid of the marks.

A da with a microfiber cutting pad could do the trick after some 3000 grit wet sanding. 3000 marks polish out pretty easily, especially on fresh paint.
