Elantra Coupe. I saw one for the first time ever, I think. I imagine Hyundai hasn’t sold many.

To me, most FWD 2-doors just look so wrong. FWD usually means the cabin and roofline is sort of hunched over the front wheels... which makes the ass-end of the car look vast and empty. And also kinda “forced”. This is no exception. Most of the 2-door FWDers that don’t look stupid are hatchbacks.
That said, I prefer that things just have 4+ doors, period. Unless it’s a supercar or small(ish) sports car I just don’t see the point... it’s less practical and to my mind doesn’t look any better (often worse) anyway.

When you aren’t looking for it, it’s indistinguishable from the sedan. I’ve seen a bunch of them where it took me a few seconds to realize that they were the coupes. They’re as invisible as the sedans, so you don’t think anything of it when you see it.

True! I always think that about the last gen civic coupe. I would much rather have the 4 door practicality.
Now, the 4 door ‘coupe’ thing is getting my attention. They is a doc here at work who just bought a black 650 grand coupe, that thing makes me drool

I miss seeing versions of the same car that were 99% the same, aside from the number of doors. I was disappointed when the 6th-gen Accord Coupe and Sedan went different directions.
