I think Roger Moore was the worst bond.
I like to call him the Mr. Magoo bond because he looked old and out of place and most of his successes felt like happenstance as if by script and by no merit of his own.
He seems to have been a great guy in real life and I have nothing against him, but yeah. There you go.
yes, even worse than Timothy Dalton.
p.s. he never said those words, but he did say Craig and Connery were the best and that he was just behind Lazenby

Brosnan was the nice middle ground from silly bond to serious bond. and a helluva pallet cleanser after angry bond.

Jokes aside, I respectfully disagree. He was the best Bond by far followed by Brosnan and Dalton. I really don’t like Sean Connery. I like Lazenby, but I’m neutral on Craig. The man was my hero. I’ve always looked up to him since I was a kid. I cried the second I saw the news.

Roger Moore was a superb Simon Templar, precisely the right level of insouciance. It did not hurt that he was possibly the only person who could make a Volvo P1800 look cool. (PS; I will never forgive John Gardner for sticking Bond in a SAAB 900).
As James Bond, he just didn’t do it. My image of James Bond is the one from the books,
