80 Km/h.... what’s that in ‘Merican? ;). What kind of road conditions?

Divide by 8 then multiply by 5. So 50mph.

50-ish. Spring-temp dry asphalt.

Almost 50mph - I could chirp to OE rubber in my BRZ in hitting third.

Uh. If I can floor the S600 at *does math* 100 KM/H and chirp the back wheels, does that count ? Also that’s with traction control on. So who knows what’ll happen with it off...

When you’re doing 65 mph on a 35 mph curve and the rear drifts a tad for maybe 2 seconds. An AUDIble near brown shorts moment. Thank god for quattro and never lifting.

*0.62 or /1.61 is generally what I use. Usually *0.62 because multiplying in your head is way easier than dividing

Exactly but it was dry. Just this past Saturday, cambered corner had a sunken spot in it.

Fwiw, I actually have no idea how fast I was going, just that it was definitely over 80. I came upon a slow person at 120-ish who proceeded to slow down to change lanes. My original estimate was 90-95 but I decided to drag that back

The most shocking thing is this was the first and only time I’ve done this. I put in a Corvette servo last spring and got tuned in the summer, 1-2 change is pretty brutal now under WOT and the rest are much improved as well. And yet it was 6 months before I managed to scare the shit out of myself.

...and I’m happy to keep it that way

It must feel like a 2wd 90s Chevy pickup I helped a friend put a 350+ hp small block in. He could break the rear tires free at speed with a quick downshift. First time he drove it he punched it at about 40 mph and it went sideways a little. The truck had a 305 tbi engine before the swap. It went on to be owned by an oil service company and was legendary around town as the beat up silver short bed that can kick butt.
