It’s a terrible by product of working in a kitchen. Alpine GTA for your time.

Kinja'd!!!

The worst is cross contamination, my mom she won’t clean knives (& cutting boards) between putting proteins. A few thing get me: Improper knife handling, & putting product in oven that is not up to temperature. Why don’t people heat up ovens while they are prepping the ingredients, then complain the oven is not hot enough. I can’t help it, but I wish I could.

If you’re heating up a Stouffer’s frozen lasagna, don’t worry about preheating. It’ll be in there over an hour.

If you’re making a Beef Wellington, make sure it’s up to temp because you don’t want to fuck it up.

I hate being in the kitchen, but at least I’m smart enough to preheat the oven. My wife and mother-in-law throw the dish in the oven before turning it on. Then they wonder why the bottom of the food is burnt.

Duh!

The bottom element in the oven is effectively broiling the bottom of the dish until the whole oven is up to temp!
