Anyone local enough to get to Providence at any point between now and Friday, I need your help if the truck is going to be done before the Oppo Rally on Saturday!

I still have a ton of work, but most importantly I have a few jobs that simply can’t happen without at least 1-2 other sets of hands. Both the replacement MC and the correct flywheel should be arriving today. I will need someone else to help bleed the brakes. And once the flywheel/clutch/bellhousing/trans are on the engine I will need help with getting it physically positioned in the truck & the front sheetmetal back on.

This is not to mention the fifty million little things still left to turn this into a running & driving truck.

If you can help email me at improbcat at gmail dot com.

I’ve done plenty of one-man brake jobs. The ~$8 kit from Harbor Freight works great. It’s certainly faster with a second person but it works well enough with only one. But I imagine there are other things that you need a hand with. I would definitely help if I wasnt in NJ lol.

I have that, a Mityvac and made a DIY pressure bleeder from this link below. Most of the time if I have the correct cap setup I use the DIY bleeder. I got the sprayer on sale at Sears and the gauge for under $3 at Autozone. It cost me about $25 to build it with an Audi/VW cap . I had a brass hose barb, clamp and other stuff I needed to McGyver it. I hook up the Harbor Freight bleeder bottle or a pop bottle to the caliper with clear tubing and watch for it to be change color in the tubing. Don’t pump over 10 lbs pressure or you may damage reservoir seal. I sometimes bleed both brakes on an axle at once with the setup.
