Is it me, or does this Z4 look nothing like the Supra?

Good. I was worried that the only difference between them was going to be the BMW’s retractable hard top.

Well now I’m wondering is there will be like a Z3 or Z5 that shares the Toyota engineering.

Do we even have a final look on the Supra?

I mean kinda sorta. The concept is way more curvaceous and a Supra test mule has also been spotted at many occasions.

I’m thinking that the Z4 and the Toyota twin are different cars.

Is it that surprising? Unique sheetmetal isn’t that hard and I’m sure both just needed a partner to split R&D with on a unique sports car chassis. I’m betting Toyota gets their own version (tune) of BMW’s inline 6 ala 2JZ. Good to know that the Z4 will get a 4 cylinder too (s20i in the picture).
