1991 Ford Festiva
for $500.
The description is so honest it hurts.
Got a 1991 Ford festiva. It’s a babe yes. And yes, it runs nice. Needs the brake lines bled tho. Has brand new winters on it. Comes with 3/4 full bottle of wiper fluid and 3/4 tank of gas. Will take $400 if gone today. Does drive and brakes work a tiny bit but wouldn’t risk taking it on the highway. Please don’t be too turned on by this beautiful work of art.

But then you’d have to own a Festiva.

$500 for a perfectly acceptable golfcart that can carry groceries and do the speed limit. worth it

If it’s a manual and doesn’t need a ton of work, get it.
I’ve heard they’re a ton of fun in a half ton package, and actually have a pretty big community of people hot rodding them. (Doesn’t take much power to get 1700 pounds moving).
If it’s an auto, avoid it.

As bad as a Festiva. Still a driving car for that price is not so bad (depending on the brake situation, since stopping is good too). If it just needs a flush, or even new pads, I say NP (barely, I don’t want to mess with drum brakes, which I assume this has).

There is actually a guy in the Detroit region that RallyX’s one. I’m pretty sure to change the tires for the track you could just pick it up.

I just remember them having so much body roll and being cheap cars when they came out, and this is compared to a ford tempo or pontiac sunfire.

Comes with 3/4 full bottle of wiper fluid
How badly do you need to justify the price to use this as a selling point?

I would do it, but I’m also a guy who’s owned 2 Chevy Sprints. My judgement may be suspect.

Dude: I saw one of these
today
in the same color and I thought I’d made a left turn into the Third World. I think it’s really a Mazda or a Kia.

do it. Tossable and fun and can be swapped with miata engines for more go-juice.

I want one of these.
I...I love the way they look.
Also, I want to swap in a Mazda 1.6 and make it really stupid fast.

Any running/driving car is worth $500
Plus, an older Kia shouldn’t be too hard to work on since it’s probably simple, mechanically speaking.

It’s both a Mazda and a Kia.
Began life as the Mazda 121, was licensed to Kia as the Pride, was rebadged into the Festiva.

Very badly. It’s a 1991 Festiva. Washer fluid ain’t cheap.
Hell, the gas in the tank probably gives it a solid $25-30 bump in value.

No, unfortunately. I had two silver 5-door Sprints with the fire-wheezing 48-hp triple. Both were manuals. They went from 0-60.
