The key is protecting the interior from hard edges. Believe you me, it’s a challenge, but it can be done.

I don’t see that that’s being done here. Even if it were, this person clearly would be happier with some sort of crossover thing. They don’t deserve a BRG XK with a tan interior and top.

The one I drove last night looks like the interior has seen a few bikes in its day. You really have to work to protect that light tan from sun bleaching and rubbing because the color oranges easily, not the leather (that’s good stuff) but the side panels.

I did not. At least not yet. When I went to the dealer last week to drive it, it wouldn’t start. They took it to Jag to get the ignition switch replaced and then drove it out to me last night to make it up to me. Needless to say, if I go for it, it won’t be before an inspection. It has 88K on it.
So I guess we can’t be besties yet. ;)

It did fit. People say how the back seat in these things doesn’t fit actual humans, but I don’t need it to fit a human. I’m having a bit of a crisis with my practical side because I tested an E350 this weekend that has everything I need at a great price and fits the chair in the back like a glove. But my heart wants an XK. So I’ll buy it an XK.
