I once bought a 25' Starcraft Chieftain cabin cruiser with the intent to live on it for a year. It was a terrible idea that crashed and burned when I A) couldn’t get a title for the boat, B) couldn’t find a slip that would allow live-aboards, and C) I got distracted from pursuing any of it when I met my (then-future) wife. I ended up selling it for pennies on the dollar.

Damn, that would be neat. This is one I really wish I had held onto... It was a 1970 Pere Marquette 17' powered by a dual-Stromberg equipped Volvo B20! I bought it in that condition for $700 and it had never seen salt water until I bought it. Good times were had with that old girl.
