I had a rental Camaro SS last week. It was’t bad. It also wasn’t particularly good. Nice sound, though.

I drove several of these and just could not get over the complete lack of visibility in every direction, the tiny tiny tiny back seat, and the small trunk.

I realized after the 3rd test drive or so that it was actually a breath of fresh of air to get out of one and into my Z06, with its low line of sight and huge B-pillar and all.

There are two kinds of people in this world: people who want to be able to see out of cars, and Camaro drivers.

My dad just had one of these for 5 days and drove my 95-year-old grandmother around in it. She actually enjoyed it, good seat support, decent ride. But both of them just went on and on about the visibility, especially with the silly hood bulge.

I agree. And although mine isn’t an RS (does have RS tail lights thought!) it’s still a looker!

My 94 year old grandmother is similar! Has an easier time getting in and out of the ‘Maro than my moms Trax! She always says “how do you see out of this thing!?” I tell her you get used to it.

I got use to the visibility within 50 miles. Parking lots are a little tricky but other than that, you can see all you need to - I’d have no problem with it on a regular basis. The trunk and back seat were unexpectedly tiny. Not that you expect to regularly put anyone in the back seat in a car like this, but in this case it is essentially impossible. The trunk and the back seat would make this very hard to live with as a primary vehicle, but I think it would make a great weekend car for those with the space.

The trunk is hilarious. Good sized but the opening is tiny.

Hood bulge is silly. The enormous gauge hood that juts into your view is also silly. But once you get driving it really is just fine to see out of. What I had more trouble getting used to is how wide it is.

I wish I had been able to get an SS, but they didn’t have one available. There was one there when I returned it. Too late I guess :(

It’s hard to use size too. Like it’s deep but narrow. I filled it 75% of the way with a large duffel bag, a day pack and my wife’s giant purse, just because I had to wedge the duffel in lengthwise. And yeah I had to stuff it through that tiny opening.

the un-usable back seat works great as a 2nd trunk!

I could see it making a good second car as well.

I’m just used to the low, wide, and expansive view that you get out the front in a C5 or C6, for example. It’s one of the features I really like about my car.

Being inside the new Camaro made me feel claustrophobic and borderline uncomfortable.
