Road America of course! IMSA and Indy car are my favorites, but there’s scca as well.

The kart track I race at is a bit east of you.

There are super nice state and county parks near Madison.

I occasionally organize a cruise, if you’re interested in that.

We have a Wisconsin car enthusiast club which has huge shows.

If you’re around for early fall, down in Illinois is the lake Forest sports cars show. Last year had the p1, laferrari, Ferrari Sergio, Porsche 918, db11, Pagani huayra, Koenigsegg one:1, etc.

I could go on lol.

Sadly I don’t have my T/A up with me, but those are all great ideas. Totally forgot Road America was up here and that supercar Saturdays were a thing.

I’m pretty sure AtlasM does.

Yeah there’s a ton going on. If you need someone to hang with for road America I’m usually tail gating the big events with a group of friends

Squeee! You live in the city I was born in! If I may suggest some fun features:

- Meet an Oppo: Me - I live just south of the Wisconsin border sitting on the shores of Lake Michigan...but I have no fears snaking deep into WI.

- Car shows!: Supercar Saturdays - A Chicagoland car show of everything from tuner cars to 1900 WHP GT-Rs and vintage Ferraris.

- Six Flags: Expensive as all heck, sorta. You could get a season pass subscription for $7/mo.

- Ron’s Place in Kenosha: To this day remains the best burgers and the best long islands I’ve ever had.

Hey, I’m in between Milwaukee and Madison! I’m by no means an expert on things to do in Madison, but I’ll try my best. Definitely hit up State Street and the Memorial Union Terrace once the weather is nicer, if you haven’t already! Ian’s Pizza is one of my favorites, I always have to get it when I’m in town. Madison’s farmers market is also really popular.

One of the only car related things that I personally know of is Lake Mills Cars and Coffee, which is a bit of a drive down I-94. I’ve been going off and on for a few years now and they’ve grown a lot! I think their May meet had over 400 cars. It’s the first Sunday of the month, and I highly recommend it!

Ha, I had Ian’s Pizza tonight as my first meal in town. Great suggestions, thank you!

Lake Mills Cars & Coffee is between Madison and Milwaukee and is gaining in attendance. You can find them on Facebook.

As mentioned, Road America is a quick drive away. Indy/PWC, Hawk Vintage, Tudor/Weathertech/IMSA and NASCAR are the big weekends, but there are some other ones too. A couple are bike-focused.

Madison gets all the good concerts.

New Glarus brewery in New Glarus and Grumpy Troll brewery in Mt. Horeb are fantastic places I have yet to visit, you should visit them multiple times.

Madison in the summer will be great- I’m in Chicago but have family in Lake Geneva and Milwaukee. Besides the car-related things others mentioned, Summerfest in Milwaukee is great, too.

My mother grew up in Madison, so I visited there a Lot growing up.

You mentioned you have beer drinking & brat eating covered, though if you haven’t certainly check out Essen Haus

Great water activities, fishing, swimming, sailing. In fact (I forget which lake) there is really reasonable (very small) sailboat, canoe, etc... rentals

Lots of biking lanes & biking trails in Madison. Oh there’s a really great observatory on campus if you can find a way to visit it ( I don’t remember how open to the public it is)

If you’re in to architecture, there are Several Frank Loyd Wright designed houses and building around & his architecture school Taliesin (which gives tours) is an hour away which is also right by House on the Rock (tours also available). Certainly check out Monona Terrace

You’re also close to Milwaukee, which has a great modern art museum & the Harley museum is worth a drive (and I say that as no fan of Harley) + I’ve heard the newish Brewers Stadium is pretty nice

As others have mentioned foodie scene is strong in Madison. Check out the farmers market(s) & foodie restaurants.

A couple WI PBS type shows for ideas:

Note: the second link below is to the YouTube episode of “Around the Corner with John McGivern” featuring Madison. It’s a mostly delightfully cheesy show, John is so damn positive!
