This truck. It’s been for sale for a bit over a year IIRC. If it weren’t in such a hideous color, I’d be interested.
Why?
1. It’s in that hideous shade of catheter bag yellow
2. It’s got the old 5.4
3. It was exported to PR, then back here again. Which I find kinda odd.
4. The interior looks like a booger factory (Look at the last picture)

This is of course why we can only get so many cars in black, white, silver, gray, blue, or red. Dealers don’t want to get end up stuck with something odd.
Of course, something seems really off if they didn’t even bother to clean the interior. Do that and fix the tailgate dent if you want to sell it for $20k.

Exactly. I can’t imagine this truck was optioned and then sent to the dealer, must have been a custom order. Why somebody would import it to Puerto Rico, then export it again is beyond me.
And yeah, these are the same pictures they’ve been using since they first got it on the lot.
Here it is on Street View in October 2016, ahah.

5.4 3V is one of those motors that got a bad reputation from bad owners. It does not like missed or extended oil changes. The ones that got regular oil changes will hit 200k no problem.

Yea that must always be the way (when seriously considering). There we’re Rangers galore before I got really serious. Then I passed on one that I drove, and the next three sold before I got there. Then I spent another 3 weeks deciding if I would pay the small (nice) truck premium. I finally bought one from the most cliche used car place ever.

The truck premium is real. Especially with like Tacomas, which literally barely depreciate at all until they’re at least 8 years old.
