I started attacking the Vespa restoration.
As I pulled it apart, I kept finding little clips missing. I want to do this right, so one more parts order.
The biggest one was the cracked plastic panel that runs by the rear wheel.
Here is the question.
I like the way it looks when I removed the rear panels above the wheels. Instead of ordering a replacement for the cracked panel, we could shave these down to a narrow strip to cover the grommets on the rear fender, and give it a more aggressive stance by lifting the “haunches”?

I personally prefer the stock look in terms of body panels, but it’s your little ride so if you want to mod it up, feel free - it’s your scooter, enjoy it as you see fit! :)
I will still like it either way....just a little more if the panels were kept stock :P
