Kinja'd!!!

After two years of trouble free motoring, I’ve finally encountered my first “LOL good luck, order it from Japan” item. All things considered, that’s pretty good. Shipping costs as much as the headlights though... normally I wouldn’t care but I’m currently unemployed so now I need to do some fuse, light bulb, and ballast swapping.

What about junkyards?

When you really think about how much work goes into shipping something across an ocean the prices seem pretty reasonable.

Yeah I will probably end up paying the $400+ SMH

Junk yards, which are few and far between in the greater Boston area, don’t contain Q45s; these are even rarer than the old E24 I used to drive because nobody saves them and very few bought them in the first place.

Shipping costs are a b1tch.

There is an eczema cream (Robertson’s Skin Ointment) I get from Australia for a couple of friends kids. It’s only a 50gram tub but taxes and postage are more than the cost of the cream.

Cheers mate. Seeing kids and babies with afwul eczema just makes you want to cry. It’s the only thing that seems to work for severe eczema and £50-65 (depending whether customs pick up on it in transit to put tax on it). Thankfully a 50gram pot lasts two to three months.
