Pretty sweet keys, Kia. If it remote starts when you hold down the lock button then Ill give you full fob points. Oh, word is finally out that there will be a “Biermann Special” version of the Stinger coming out (definitely for Australia). Im just calling it the Stinger GTS right now. Launch mode is confirmed for the AWD equipped Stinger GT but Im not sure for 2.0T models.

Not bad. Like you’re holding a remote detonator.

Good key design should be more of a thing. I’ve always loved Aston’s keys.

For something that’s used so much, key fob design isn’t really ever thought about. Too many keys feel cheap and plasticky in your hand, even keys for high end sports cars.

Even when they were leather wrapped Volvo keys?

The McLaren MP4-12c has one of the best keys I have ever seen.

200k+ notwithstanding, those Kia keys look great and kind of like a fancy cigar torch.

Very cool, I like that design. It is hard to beat my friends key for his 1968 Cadillac DeVille convertible. It was a screwdriver. The ignition barrel was wonky and he could start it with a small flathead screwdriver. Ah the cars of our youth!

The functional parts of that key really do look unique and quite good.

My only issue with them is that I can’t stand when people make something out of plastic and the mold tries to make it look like leather with stitching in it. The point of leather with stitching is the feel. You never want someone to touch a product or inspect it closely and be let down or surprised that something isn’t of the quality they initially thought.

I don’t ever use the buttons on my key. My key is just a fob. Will cars go to the point of having no buttons on the key, since smart key is so prevalent?

Does it come with a pair of sunglasses to put on as you walk away in slow motion and press the lock button?

A favorite of mine. Just a simple, hunk of metal.

Is it wrong that I keep getting wood over stuff from Kia? If they’d just make a convertible, I would wait my car purchase for it.

the “key” for my Holden Commodore was different, it was a 5c coin but you only needed it for unlocking the car, no key required to start it, just turn the ignition barrel.

surprised it was never stolen.

Great, now every KIA owner will cause a bomb alert because someone see’s them holding something, and calls in the Mafia hitmen. And if your black... oh dear god... this is BAD NEWS. Unless you live in outside the US.. then it’s all cool.
