Ordered 4 new iridium plugs for the Soul. This is what arrived in a box with a 32 lbs bag of dog food. Not only were they viciously pummeled by bag of dog food one is just some random champion plug.

Ahh, looks like the old Randmazon packing. I get about 4-5 packages a week. Yesterday was 2 Bosch Evolution wipers alongside a 3-pack of Nivea lotion (about 3#) and some safety glasses I found for $2. The wipers were nearly destroyed.

I ordered a 5-quart jug of Mobil and a cartridge filter for the Camry a few months ago. For some reason they thought it would be ok to package them together. Needless to say, the filter was utterly destroyed by the time I got it.

You didn’t hear this from me. but the following companies DGAF about packaging things so they don’t get destroyed. Heavy bottles of liquid (tea, Hawaiian punch, detergent, etc.,) get thrown into beat up used boxes all the time with a flimsy bag wrapped around them. Nothing is done to secure the cap or make sure the bottle doesn’t just move around and break open. Think twice before ordering anything liquid or glass from these guys. It’s Zero fucks given, seriously.

Years ago I used to work for CVS in their warehouse. All of their stuff is picked, put into totes and sent to the individual stores. Often times things would get damaged in these totes, but really the pickers didn’t have the time so fix whatever was broken and it was just sent on down the line. So I’m sure the stores got a tote full of stuff covered in a mayonnaise bottle that busted open. After it sat in a hot trailer for probably 5 days.
Most companies don’t really put too much thought into keeping items safe in logistics. It’s an acceptable loss versus using proper practices.

There’s assholes out there that file claims like this falsely all the time, they get a bunch of free stuff. They’ll order and Xbox and then purposely not answer the door when it’s delivered so they can later claim they never got it because the delivery receipt says “left on doorstep”. Others will file damage claims, or claim there is blood on it so it becomes hazmat and can’t be returned. It goes on and on.
They justify it because Amazon is a large corporation. But they are often screwing the little guy as they are a seller on Amazon. I happen to be one of them too. I get fraudulent returns all the time, often I’ll receive their broken item back in place of my New-in-box item.
Thankfully returns are a small enough percentage of my business that it’s not the end of the world. And I’m glad you’ll get the right parts out of this!

My wife and I tried ordering just a butter crock on Amazon three times in a row and they were all broken, no extra padding on any subsequent shipments. Returned the third one and got one locally.
