My dad has one he’s thinking about selling. But it hasn’t run since 2015. And the torque vectoring system was removed before he owned it anyway.

Luckily my girlfriend is in agreement that if I find the right 560SEC or SEL, 00-02 R129 SL600, or a few other choice vehicles, I have a green light. I am going to have to find more storage space though.

My wife is supportive, too, but the reality is that we have 4 cars now and a short driveway - and I’m the one shuffling cars around to drive the one I want every day. Just need to unload one first.

We are looking to move some place that either has a giant driveway or a yard big enough to build a pull barn. Right now I keep 3 cars at our place and we store a few others at families houses under covers and then we rotate them every few weeks. Most of them go to storage in the winter time and we have 2 cars that are kept on snows and are just taken out Nov-April.

That Prelude looks just like the one that slid into my car in the snow about 12 years ago. Well, before it hit my car and seriously mangled the front end (and mangled the side of mine, but I think the Prelude lost on that one).

It’s actually a fairly common mod on them, because 99% of people who own 20-year-old Hondas are not even remotely interested in doing Porsche-levels of maintenance on them. Transmission and passenger axle from another H or F engine, and a blockoff plate to hide the wiring. Or just an engine/transmission swap.
