Cool vid. Brings back memories for sure.
Also talking about not being able to run all the races because of budget brought back memories too. Although for me we had the opposite problem. Pops went racing before everything else, so we came home one weekend with a nice big trophy for 1st place, but his keys didn’t work in the apartment door anymore.

Any insights on gearing? Let’s say the comparison between gearing at somewhere like Mid Ohio compared to Pitt.

Haha I’m the last person you’d want to ask about gearing. We used the same gears that I had at VIR and moved 1-2-3 up to 2-3-4 and put in the second tallest 1st that we had. It worked pretty well except that 4th was a little bit too short when the track started getting fast, and it’d definitely be too short in the draft. I’m not sure off the top of my head what numbers we were running.
I heard that it’s similar to Mid-Ohio but I’ve never been there in a car with open gears so I can’t really say.
