Are you more of a “no replacement for displacement” guy or “turbocharge all the things” guy?

You should be fine, “with some exceptions”.

This is only okay if you work for Rex Tillerson.

I was an adjunct prof teaching a Business Law and Ethics course for an EMBA program several years ago. The last straw for me was when a student plagiarized his fricking ethics paper from, of all places, wikipedia. Trying to get the administration to do something about it was such a pain that I told them to find someone else to teach the course.

The American business environment has fundamentally changed following the insider trading and savings and loans scandals. Explain business ethics, and how they are applied today.

I had to write a group paper for a senior capstone class about Jacksonian economics and the related market revolution. I was a sophomore taking the class purely out of interest in the subject and got paired up with the first baseman for the university’s baseball team. For his section of the paper he literally copied and pasted the Wikipedia page that came up on Google if you searched for his topic. Didn’t even bother to rephrase anything. This paper served as the final for the class. Luckily the professor was super chill and when I explained that part of our paper was missing, he cut me some slack.

Mr. jvirgs ¯\_()_/¯ drives a Doge Dart, what you’ve just written is one the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having read it. I award you no stars, and may god have mercy on your soul.

My guy wrote an introduction that was gibberish. Then five pages of coherent thoughts, albeit superficial. Then a conclusion that was back to gibberish. It didn’t take a brain surgeon to figure out something was amiss, and a quick googling of a couple of somewhat unique phrases found the wikipedia article. He then had the nerve to deny he copied it, which actually made me think he bought it from someone. Either way, what an idiot. I’ve always wondered how he managed to get a college degree if the intro and conclusion actually had been his work.
