Please let the Porsche and ‘Vette come out in time to be “Best Driver’s Car” contenders alongside the Performante! For those of you that didn’t get to see the Huracan Performante prototypes testing then prepare to realize how silly it was for everyone to have doubted the production car. I said it before, sub-7 minute Nurburgring laps are going to be happening every other month.

Mercedes is about to become the new ‘Ring King, give it another year and you’ll see. Gird your loans and your loins!

The Vette is the only that will be available with a manual, so that’s my winner by default.

But the Performante looks and sound the best.

Yeah, but it’s going to likely be supercharged, because it worked so well for them on the Z06.

If I was buying one, GT2 RS. I believe it was maybe Automobile magazine, Auto-something, got a ride in a prototype. They took it up to 217 on the Autobahn. If it’s that underrated on the top speed, I can’t imagine how much everything else is undershot.

Second Choice: Huracan.

The Vette will likely be supercharged, so no. That worked so well on the Z06, and GM does so well at not repeating history... That said, I’d take overheating over dropped valves, so I guess that’s progress from the C6.
