Fucking back injuries? Might be time for a sex swing. Or a lighter partner.

I’m very sorry to hear that. I know what it’s like.

If it makes you feel better, here’s a nice 540i.

Back injury, or back spasm? I have suffered from debilitating back spasms in the past. It’s no fun.

I think it’s just muscle spasms. If the pain hasn’t gone down by tomorrow it’s time for the doctors.

Having been through many, my advice is to just keep moving. It makes sense to sit still and use a heating pad, but I have found that trying my best to maintain normal activity as much as possible goes a lot farther towards loosening up the muscle. You can also bomb it with ibuprofen, but no more than recommended on the bottle unless your doctor says so. What I learned is that getting up and down is going to hurt, but then it stops. You might also want to get some sort of walking stick. Not necessarily to help your back, but to move things, pick up things, flush the toilet, stuff that you normally have to bend over for. Good luck. These things really suck.

Oh, and once it’s over, start doing back exercises. Keep those muscles stretched and flexible.

Last time I had strong back pain it hurt all over my abdomen - I thought I had stomach cancer or kidney stones or something. I couldn’t lie down, I couldn’t sit, so I alternated between whichever hurt less at the time. Went to the doc expecting a diagnosis of death but it turns out I just had a shitty back.

Hope you get better soon, in the meantime here’s some car:

I feel you man... Tweaked mine on Saturday, suffered for a couple days, went to urgent care on Monday, doing much better now (on steroids, muscle relaxers & Advil). Hopefully I’ll be 100% by the weekend.
