Kinja'd!!!

From the CBC:

A man has been arrested after a bus was stolen from a TTC garage in Scarborough, driven to Whitby, and abandoned.

The man, 33, now in custody in Whitby, has been charged with possession of stolen property.

Durham Regional Police said they located the bus at the corner of Bonacord Avenue and Cochrane Street in Whitby at about 5:15 a.m. It was taken from the TTC’s Birchmount garage.

Anyway, even though apparently public transit busses don’t need keys to start, please refrain from stealing them.

FYI just slide open the driver side window and push the handle forward to open the front door. Turn the knob/dial to run and depress the starter switch and you’re all set. I recommend adjusting the mirrors though.

Just once, I want a crime headline to read “doing donuts in a Tim Horton’s parking lot”. Is that too much to ask?

If you want to see something become reality some times you have to make it happen yourself

This would be funny if it was the first time this ever happened. #CanucklandCrimes
