Reminds me of my little monster the first time I went to see her (6 weeks old, we picked her up at 10 weeks):
(Shamelessly posts pictures of his dog) She’s half Bernese mountain dog, half Beauceron. Today she looks like this:
Bernese mountain dogs have a great character, but tend to become quite lazy and fat if not taken care of. You might want to watch out for that.

He is super fluffy. He was the one with the mildest personality was also the biggest and fluffiest out of 11 pups in the litter. He’s over 10lbs at a little over 4 weeks, his dad is 130 without being fat! Plan on keeping him healthy with a strict diet and exercise. I tend to take pet ownership more seriously than most. I’m in medicine and he will probably go for therapy training/certification.

Isn’t he a bit young at 4 weeks to be separated from his mother? I always heard 10 weeks as a rule of thumb.
I heard of Bernese mountain dogs as therapy dogs, they have a great character for that. But they are big and clumsy also.

He’s probably just getting updates from the breeder. He said 4 weeks until he comes home, which puts him at 8 weeks, which is considered the minimum from any self respecting breeder. I think 10 weeks is a better point, but you always have the itch to go get the little guys!

Father is on the left. Muzzles on the males tend to be wider. He’s huge too, 130lbs. I did some aptitude/personality testing and the “best” one for me ended up also being the biggest of the liter, which doesn’t always mean anything but he was also the fluffiest. Worked out that way. Can’t wait to get him home and start training. Wife can’t wait for the cuddles.
