I need some energetic classical music to listen to. Something like Appalachian Spring or 1812 Overture for the night work.

side note, I tried to play the trumpet for the first time in probably 10 years. I wanted to try the into to Fanefare for the Common Man. Ouch my lips hurt after 10 seconds.

I’ve been playing for 40 years and my chops hurt after 10 seconds of that. Look for Copland’s Third Symphony on YouTube. The fanfare appears in the final movement, but with a significant harmonic change. Check out Respighi Roman Festival. We’re playing this right now, performing it on Friday and Saturday.
