From the Press-Democrat in Sonoma : “According to the CHP, Apol Lansang, 26, of Sonoma, was driving her Malibu south on Highway 101, near Geysers Road when she was struck by the northbound Sequoia being driven by Kevin Fenty, 27, of Huntington Beach, that drifted across the highway into Lansang’s lane.”

Looks like there was already tons of help? And like they were (smartly) not moving the driver until the paramedics got there.
As for how the crash happened, I have no idea. it’s on the wrong side for a head on collision, I didn’t see any place where she could have been making a left turn across traffic, and I didn’t see any pole or other obstacle that could have sheered that off.

There’sat least a dozen other people there who seem to have the situation well in hand (I even saw one with nitrite gloves which suggests medical training). It’s possible/probable he doesn’t have the knowledge to lend any more assistance than what’s being provided. We also don’t know what he may have done before the video started or after it ended.
