My mom got out of college in 1992 and asa reward to herself bought a brand new 1993 Firebird in the green you see above with a tan interior. Needless to say it was one of her favorite cars (she thought the buttons on the steering wheel were pretty futuristic for the era). She sold it shortly after I was born in 1994 and it was the first car I ever was driven in.

My Mom’s most Jolap car I knew was her green 03 Focus Wagon ZTW. It had a manual trans, the bigger 2.3 engine, and a Blaupankt stereo, with built in subwoofer. The funniest thing is my parents actually cross shopped the PT Cruiser as it wa the hot new thing at the time. My Mom said it drove like a cross between an old truck and a Buick. Be she loved her sporty little Wagon. It was supposed to become my first car too, as they knew I’d be driving in about 6 years. Unfortunately in 05 my Dad made he trade it for a 4 Cylinder Escape because “she needed an AWD car”. We both hated the Escape, but thankfully it wasn’t passed down to me because they were still making payments on it in 08.
She also had a manual Datsun 210 as her first car.
