Currently $460. Interior and engine (the correct 460 V8) are good. Not to mention it’s the perfect shade of GOLDEN BROWN. I need that velour in my life.

But mid-late 1970s emissions equipment. Still, velour is the height of luxury. I have no clue why everyone wants leather (aside from ease of cleaning). Velour beats every other seating surface in cars (alcantra is just really short velour).

God, imagine a road trip with that. It won’t so much eat the miles up as it would beat them into submission.

It’s not in too bad of a condition, I don’t think I’ve seen a Conti that complete and not dripping rust in some years now.

The thing with these engines is that the emissions equipment choked power like crazy, but the torque stayed respectable. These things were putting out over 330-350 lb ft, which isn’t bad by modern standards. It’s only bad by 7.5L-V8 standards.

Go for it. The body isn’t in bad shape for a Canadian car, and the price is gonna be fairly low.

By the conditional standards that a lot of these cars are kept in by the grandparents that bought them new in Ft. Lauderdale and drove them six miles to church and back for forty years while still performing religious maintenance.
