The TSX is awesome! Just too bad the wagon was auto-only. But it’s still cool.

IMHO one of the few Acuras worth buying. Had the previous gen of the Euro Accord, and have to say that it wasn’t a bad car at all. Name other FWD non-luxury cars with strut tower braces.

That it is, although the lack of a manual kinda killed my want for one. They do drive nice though. I drove an auto for the first time in two months yesterday and my left leg was twitching to push a clutch.

I’ve always liked the TSX, I keep on contemplating picking up a first gen with a manual for my daily driver (the second gen might be a little too big). Perfect size, good manual, plenty of luxuries... I keep checking prices near me and they’re decent, but the all have a million kms on them or are riced into Oblivion. I find one that’s been taken care of I might just jump.

I’m not going to say that I regret not buying one of these back when I was shopping for a new daily driver about 4 years ago. Because the Civic that I bought instead has been dead reliable and just overall a very nice commuter. But sometimes I wonder if I would have been happier in the long run with a TSX. The main thing that steered me away from them at the time was that they got ok, not great gas mileage, they required premium fuel, and at the time gas was expensive. Plus in my price range the ones that was looking at were something like 4 or 5 years older than the Civics that I was looking at.
I still occasionally think about buying one because they honestly have aged incredibly well and gas has gotten much cheaper. But realistically I would be hard pressed to actually justify buying another car that offers very little improvement over my current paid off well running car.

Story of my life.
Love my Si but my short city commute is killing my gas mileage. Id love a TSX to daily drive just cause it’s a nicer car, but with premium from 3-3.30 a gallon and no improvement in mpg’s...its a pipe dream

The TSX of the best modern Accords around for sure, it’s a near-perfect DD.
But I’m going with the AeroDeck on this one, because AeroDeck.
