After a hiatus of over a month from Forza Horizon 3, I finally decided to log in yesterday. I collected my GT2 RS from this week’s #FORZATHON, and then checked the Auction House to stock up on the previous Porsches that I had missed. To my dismay, 959s were going for over a million, while 993s were listed in the five millions. And, to make matters worse, 918s were all on sale for only 20 million credits.
I guess this will have to suffice for now. Thing is, it looks great in red. And although I had my qualms on installing tires with red strips, they actually complete the look pretty well.

I’ve played for a while and feel like I’m making a pittance. At least parts are cheap. And I do like how you can toss all your mods into a ‘cart’ to see where the car will wind up before you pay for your changes.

Ah that car actually just popped up in a wheel spin. Didn’t win it of course, since Horizon 3 wheelspins still insist on giving me 3,000 CR.

I’m immensely jealous that my friend won it. I’ve spun that wheel almost 500 times minus winning wheelspins and it kinda feels like an insult at this point. I have won some good stuff though

Fuck their prizes. Prize spins should be worth something, not an insult. The very lowest credits value should be like 50k and it goes up from there. The cars should be worthwhile, or come with enough value to sell off and make money.
2k and 3k ‘prizes’ are offensive.

Infinite scroll has its perks as I assume infinite scroll caused the wrong reply and with it I was able to see it. Ummm.... I’m very frugal. I do have 100 percent completion and do goliath a lot for the wheelspins.

I’m a little late to the party here, but another way to make easy cash in FH3 is to use the Forza Hub app on the Xbox. They have a rewards tier and if you check in every week, you get credits awarded to the accounts of every Forza game you have on you file. I don’t remember the exact amount I get for the tier I’m on, but I want to say it’s around 150k.

Already in the habit of checking the Forza Hub. I’m only getting 125k in FM6 and FH3. Which, yes is helpful, but not really all that much.
I am just used to having so much cash coming in that I don’t have to worry about buying any car I want to experiment with. I have such a history with FM6 that I loaded the game and basically had 10 million credits to play with instantly. Not so much with the FH series as this is the only one I have played at any length. Fourtza was far too generous. FM5 was way too stingy. I feel like they have it just right in FM6; aside from not being able to auction cars.
Bringing back the auction house is great. The auction house is ruined, of course. No one wants anything being sold there because it is all the same few cars. And they removed being able to sell cars for half their value. I’d take the 1Mil or so that Ferrari 166 is worth over waiting forever to sell it for a pittance in the AH. So what if everyone playing the game decides to sell it? That’s how they have chosen to play the game.
I’m really tired of developers dictating how people play the games they make. Give us choices and leave us alone.
