Went for a big dirt loop ride, with a stop at my friend’s ranch to help him ride in some moto trails. We used my XR250R and my XR650L that lives at his place. I couldn’t get pics of the Elk because I spooked them. Great day over all. I also found a shed antler and saw a lizard thingy.

The “lizard thingy” is a horned lizard. Also commonly called a horned road or horned frog, though they are lizards not frogs/toads. They are the mascot of TCU’s sports teams. Also, they can shoot blood out of their eyes as a self-defense mechanism.
