Steering column and brake booster have to come off. And that’s assuming I can actually find a manual pedal assembly somewhere to put in the damn thing.

Nah, all it takes is flooring the accelerator and turning the wheel while near a crowd. You then have turned the Miata into a Mustang wannabe. Just do it blindfolded and then you may end up with similar results.

Idk, with a limited slip you could definitely hamfist your way into crashing. I’ve definitely ended up in situations where dirt or wetness on the road required my dorifto skills learned from autocross in order to save the day. Put said unskilled Mustang driver in that situation and who knows what might happen.
