Wait, there's no such thing as manual 2 Series anymore?

Half of the 128i / 135i for sale I see are manuals, it’s not like they didn’t sell

I’m pretty sure I can walk in to my local BMW dealer and buy a manual 2 series........ :)

I can still build an M240i with a manual on the website (apparently not w/xDrive though). But not sure what country you’re in? Also, why are there 2 choices under everything but the M240i xDrive? Looks to me like 1 is manual but mislabeled. I hope! :)

Canada. We typically buy more manuals than the US but we usually have the same lineup as the US

I think that’s a glitch in their system. They appear to have the same engine but the performance numbers and prices are different. I would wager the top options are manuals while the bottom are automatics.

OK, I’m in the states and the BYO still shows a manual option on both RWD cars, not the AWD cars. I’d think that you would at least get that. And still suspect a typo in the row headers -

Well I though BMW was one of the last defenders of manuals

Sure is.

(looks up pricelist)

218i, 220i, 230i, 240i, 218d, 220d. Only the 225d and the 220d x-drive are auto -only.

Your mileage may differ of course.

I’m thankful for it since people only like the VW DCTs but THINK they like dual-clutches when it’s actually the ZF 6-speed and 8-speed automatics they are imagining. I saw more promise in CVT + Turbocharging than DCT.
