This would be a prime contender. Maybe I can snag one of these in a couple years...

I saw one today!! Probably only the 2nd or 3rd I’ve ever come across in person. I gave him a vigorous thumbs up (he didn’t notice).

I had 3 problems with the SS for my daily driver. First, the reat seat doesn’t fold down, second, poor fuel economy, and third, a bit pricy. Cool car, though.

Saw a blue one last night. Very nice, but judging by Pontiac G8 prices, used ones are probably still going to be $30k+ for 5 years.

What about a late model Caprice? I know there are still a few low millage department test vehicles around.

I test drove one with the auto a month or two ago. Great car. I loved it. The heads up display was very cool, and the shifts were quick with the paddles. Sounds like its relatively easy to get another 30-50hp out of them too.
Only downside is that its a full size sedan. It is big. Longer than my land cruiser even. Weight is on par with other sports sedans at roughly 4,000. Very cool car though. I want to test drive the manual at some point.
