Maybe a dumb question, but pop start it? I had to do that with a Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 once, pretty fun.

SUPER torque engine + weird gearing + me being under 150lbs = rear tires just locked up EVERY time. no matter the gear. 1st through 6th
