With all the other cars being slammed, now we need something to take offroad.

I had a good chassis left over after stealing its wheels so it was the perfect car for this project.

Kinja'd!!!

The first thing I did was mount the front caster arms. I used the longer arms from the cozy truck so I was able to retain full caster steering.

Kinja'd!!!

Afterwards it was time to mockup the rear.

Kinja'd!!!

Once I was happy with the rear height I built a subframe out of 2x3's this is way overkill but whenever I build something I way overbuild it. I’m sure the rear setup could support my 230lbs self no problem.

Kinja'd!!!

Now all that is left to so is cut the axle to lenght and it is done.

Here is the finished product.

Awesome! You should try making it into a pedal car. That would be extra super duper badass.

I’m sure that you used a sufficiently weight rated jack stand there . . .

This actually evokes the “ Themed Donk ” to me — not a bad thing, just something about the colors. Great work, as usual.

I guess that you will need to put the kid in platform shoes to be able to move the vehicle without you.

Building custom Power Wheels is way too addictive. I’m not going to lie, a few years ago I used to regularly drive around the local neighborhoods on trash day looking for discarded Power Wheels. Because 9 times out of 10 they were just being tossed out because the batteries were dead. I don’t DD a truck anymore so it’s a more difficult proposition with a Civic. But in all seriousness I wedged a pink barbie jeep halfway into my trunk and ran it home just a couple of weeks ago because I found it like a block away from my house on my way to work and I just couldn’t pass it up.
