My daughter did that once when she was about four. It was fall and we had been raking leaves and jumping into the pile. The next day we went to the park. There were some big ditches that were piled high with leaves. Before I could stop her, she made the jump into the pile. She came out soaking wet and covered with mud. That was the day she learned to look before leaping.
