This will legally be done be done at the local 1/8th mile strip. So you can’t yell at me about street racing

Now you might be wondering why I would do such a thing and it’s very simple.

1. Drag racing the alfa is so absurd that I feel like I have to do it.

2. the subaru is an automatic with like 200k miles on it. So there is a chance that it will explode and i’ll win.

3. I’m friends with the subaru owner.

4. My coronet friend has never taken his car to the strip and for some peculiar reason he always wants me to take my car with him. So this is the perfect example to show him just how unfit my car is for drag racing.

Hey, if the Alfa starts shedding parts along the strip, that’s less weight and more fast.

Let the Subie stage first and then sit there - boom.

Use bracket racing rules. Whoever gets the closest to their first run time on the second run wins.

Who amongst us is complaining? Without folley, you can’t experience first hand.. Without first hand experience, you can’t judge.

So the race is actually suburu head gasket versus Italian electrics then?
