On it’s own, I agree with you. But there’s no ignoring the resemblance, and I have a feeling it would just “fit” on the lake. Where it is it’s just out of place and ugly.

A decommissioned boat would probably look cooler as a cottage. Personally, I’ve always thought it would be neat to take a few old subway cars and use those to make one.

A few years back when I was shopping for my new Audi I was not-very-seriously looking at used Flying Spur listings as well and saw a Mulliner model that was about $10k underpriced for its year and milage.
Clicked on the listing and saw that it was bright purple with an all pink interior. It wasn’t that old at the time and the colors were from the factory. I don’t even know what they eventually managed to sell it for but I imagine it took at pretty big compared to more traditionally colored cars.
